North Plains Electric Cooperative, Inc. is pleased to welcome Micheal Wolfe as our new General Manager, effective June 2, 2025.

Mike brings over 30 years of experience in the electric cooperative distribution industry, with a strong background in operations and safety coordination. Prior to joining North Plains, he served as Operations Manager and Safety Coordinator at Southwest Rural Electric Association in Tipton, Oklahoma, and Vernon, Texas. There, he led a 7,610-meter system spanning more than 6,000 square miles—maintaining an impressive record of over 200,000 work hours without a lost time accident.

Mike’s expertise in employee management, electrical distribution design, and safety planning is already contributing to improved operational efficiency at North Plains. His deep commitment to the seven cooperative principles supports our mission and strengthens the foundation of excellence we’ve built for our members.

Familiar with small-town living, Mike is excited to call Perryton home. We are proud to have him on board and look forward to his leadership in this next chapter for North Plains.
