Payment Options

North Plains Electric Cooperative offers several convenient methods to pay your electric bill

Bank Draft
An easy check- and stamp-free way to pay. We draft an electronic transfer from your checking or savings account. Your electric bill is still mailed. If you are interested in this service click here, print this PDF form and return it to NPEC. (requires adobe PDF reader)

In Person
Bills may be paid in our office lobby from 8 to 5 every Monday through Friday. Payments may also be left in the drop box after hours. The NPEC office is at 14585 Highway 83 north in Perryton.

Budget Billing

North Plains allows members on its Variable Budget Billing Program to pay for electricity consumption based on the average number of kilowatt hours used (the dollar amount of the bill will fluctuate accordingly).

To qualify, members must have:

  • One year of usage history at their current home,
  • A good payment record,
  • Their account paid up-to-date before signing up for the budget billing program.
